Peacefully resting in a Marlin jewelry shop, a watch belonging to J. M. ("Jim Jam Jems) Reynaud is apparently surrering with a severe attack of encephalitis latheargica, the well-known sleeping sickness.

Apparently in perfect condition, the timepiece absolutely refuses to run. Every detail of the "case," also the works, has been diagnosed, but with no satisfactory results.
